The latest episode of Anupamaa begins with Moti Baa ignoring Anupama. Anupama, lost in memories of Anuj, shares with Hasmuk how it feels like just yesterday when she married Anuj. She is still adjusting to Rahi’s wedding.
During the ceremony, the priest asks Prathana to tie the sacred knot (gathbandhan) for Prem and Rahi. Gautam supports this, but Prem insists Pari should do it instead. This upsets Moti Baa. Anupama steps in, ensuring Prathana performs the ritual & requests Prem to cooperate. Prathana blesses the couple, and Prem and Rahi excitedly look forward to their new life together. Meanwhile, Moti Baa tells Parag that Anupama is trying to win over Prathana after gaining Prem’s trust. Parag worries Rahi might take control of the household after marriage, but Moti Baa confidently states she will always remain the head of the Kothari family. Hasmuk notices the tension, and Anupama grows concerned for Rahi’s future.
Anupama joins Parag and Khyati in the wedding rituals. As the priest prepares the couple for their vows, Anupama explains the importance of each step. Moti Baa highlights the significance of the pheras (wedding rounds) in a Gujarati wedding. Anupama guides Prem and Rahi through the vows, with Paritosh and Ansh assisting in the rituals. Throughout, Anupama can’t stop thinking about Anuj.
The priest instructs Prem to apply sindoor (vermilion) to Rahi’s hairline and place the mangalsutra around her neck. With Anupama’s guidance, Prem completes the ritual, officially making Rahi his wife. The couple then seeks blessings from their elders. Moti Baa reminds Rahi of her new responsibilities as a Kothari family member. However, Prem refuses to take Parag and Khyati’s blessings until Anupama convinces him. The couple also seeks Anuj’s blessings, and Anupama advises them to balance their responsibilities while staying true to themselves.
Mahi congratulates the newlyweds, and Leela asks them to wait for the next ritual. Pari and Ishani return Prem’s stolen shoe, teasing him to always keep Rahi happy. Moti Baa gifts Ishani and Pari, acknowledging their rights. Ansh gathers everyone for a family photo, but Moti Baa insists on proceeding with the vidai (farewell) ritual. Anupama, emotional, confides in Anuj about Rahi’s departure and recites a heartfelt poem as she prepares for the farewell.
Later, Anupama becomes worried about the missing shubhasan (sacred mat). She assumes Paritosh has kept it safe but is shocked to learn it’s gone. As she and Paritosh search for it, they try to hide the situation from Moti Baa. When Moti Baa discovers the missing shubhasan, she scolds Anupama for her carelessness, questioning her abilities as a mother.
